Ohana in Kaua’i, Day 7
This post will be pretty short. It will get me caught up and we are getting ready to start the day.
Momi got up at 5:30am because the roosters outside kept crowing and she could sleep. So she took a stroll on the Hanalei Bay beach and shot several sunrise pictures. When I arose I also took a walk along the same beach.
Later we (Momi, Zac, Lani, Tim, Jake, Rebekah, Sarah, Joe, and myself) went to Tunnels beach and went snorkeling. The variety of fish here is great. It sure beat the heck out of Molokini. Rebekah and Sarah decided to tan instead of snorkel. A few hours later we headed back to the house for lunch.
Around 4pm we headed into Lihue for some shopping. We dropped off Sarah at the airport to meet he mother, Ruth, and her boyfriend, John, while we shopped. One hundred and eighty dollars later we were done. I was reminded that we were now shopping for 17 people. Ten bucks each, so not too bad.
For dinner was all wondered into Hanalei in various groups and had dinner. The girls and Jake had a Bubba burger, while Zac, Momi, and I split a very expensive pizza. Just a tip if you vacation in Hanalei, shop at the Wal-Mart in Lihue and the Safeway in Kapa’a then make all your meals.
Aloha!
